Product Overview

The BWNFiber 48-fiber 4×12 MPO OM4 trunk cable terminates four MPO-12 PC female connectors on each end of a violet bundled jacket, giving high-density OM4 backbones 48 live fibers per assembly. It links cassette and panel plants across MDA, HDA and EDA zones without field termination.

This is a 4×12 assembly, not a single MPO-48 ferrule and not an 8-fiber SR4 jumper. Each end lands on four standard MPO-12 ports, so the trunk drops straight into Base-12 cassette ecosystems. Overall length runs 5-100 m with 0.3 m or 0.5 m end legs, and pulling eyes are available for long conduit routes.

Final insertion loss and return loss limits follow the BWNFiber test specification for the selected loss grade. Test method reference: IEC 61300-3-4.

Selection Guidance

• Polarity is not field-switchable. Choose Type A, Type B or Type C from the site drawing before ordering.
• Female (unpinned) ends mate with pinned cassette and panel ports; male (pinned) builds are quoted on request.
• State the end-leg length (0.3 m or 0.5 m) on the PO. It does not replace overall length.
• Jacket by space: OFNP for plenum, OFNR for riser shafts, LSZH for enclosed or public areas.
• Add a pulling eye for conduit routes and longer pulls; note it at inquiry.

Order Guide

This SKU is built to the ordered polarity and is not polarity-switchable in the field. Select the polarity from the site drawing, then overall length and jacket. End-leg length (0.3 m or 0.5 m) is stated separately on the PO.

Standard lengths: 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 m, in LSZH, OFNP or OFNR. Custom lengths between or beyond these steps, and pulling eyes, are quoted on the drawing.
