Thirty-two SC adapters consume roughly twice the panel space of thirty-two LC adapters. On a crowded ODF, a high-density splitter panel, or any build where rack units are budgeted, the LC interface is what makes a full 1:32 split fit. Note: split loss is set by the planar chip — connector form (LC/SC) does not change the 1×32 split loss; it changes the mated-connector loss budget and the panel footprint.
Connectors, Fiber Types & Compatibility
This model ships with LC/APC connectors throughout. LC/APC is less common than SC/APC in drop-side field craft — confirm your plant standard before specifying. Fiber is G657A bend-insensitive singlemode standard; customer-specified fiber available. Pigtails are 2.0mm jacketed at 1m standard, with 0.9mm for dense routing and 3.0mm for ruggedized legs.
The cassette mates with LC adapter fields on high-density ODF frames, splitter panels and distribution enclosures, and matches LC-equipped fiber termination boxes. The cassette is a protected component, not a sealed outdoor device.
