Product Overview

The BWNFiber 12-fiber MPO OM4 trunk cable terminates one MPO-12 PC female connector on each end of a 3.0 mm violet jacket, built as Type B. It is the workhorse Base-12 trunk for OM4 plants that have standardized on Type B parallel-optics channels.

Polarity is fixed at Type B in this official build, which keeps BOMs unambiguous on projects where every cassette and panel already follows the Type B method. If your plant runs Type A or Type C, request that build on the drawing instead of forcing this SKU. Violet and Erika Violet (magenta) describe the same OM4 jacket family here; the 8-fiber OM4 trunk is a separate page. Overall length runs 5-100 m.

Selection Guidance

• Order this page when the plant runs the Type B method end to end. Type A and Type C are different builds — request them on the drawing.
• Female (unpinned) ends mate with pinned cassette and panel ports; male (pinned) builds are quoted on request.
• Violet, Erika Violet and magenta identify the same OM4 jacket family on this page; the color does not change the fiber grade.

• Jacket by space: OFNP for plenum, OFNR for riser shafts, LSZH for enclosed or public areas.

Order Guide

Polarity is already fixed as Type B in this build — choose overall length and jacket. If the site plan calls for Type A or Type C, request that build on the drawing.

Standard lengths: 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 m. Custom lengths between or beyond these steps are quoted on the drawing.
