Product Overview

The BWNFiber 5.0 mm black micro-armored 12-fiber MPO patch cord terminates one MPO-12 PC female connector on each end of an LSZH jacket. It packs crush and rodent protection into a slim 5.0 mm build for dense, exposed indoor routing.

Two points are worth stating plainly. First, OM3-300 names the 10G 300 m reach grade at 850 nm — it is a fiber grade, not a 300-meter cable; listed lengths are 1-50 m. Second, the black jacket is the armor color of this build, not an OS2 identifier — the fiber inside is OM3-300 multimode. Type A, Type B or Type C polarity is built to the site drawing.

Technical Specifications

Final insertion loss and return loss limits follow the BWNFiber test specification for the selected loss grade. Test method reference: IEC 61300-3-4.

Selection Guidance

• Polarity is not field-switchable. Choose Type A, Type B or Type C from the site drawing before ordering.
• Female (unpinned) ends mate with pinned cassette, panel and transceiver ports; male (pinned) builds are quoted on request.
• Pick this 5.0 mm build when pathways are tight; pick the aqua spiral-armored build when tray identification by OM3 aqua matters.
• The black jacket is the armor color of this build — do not spec it as OS2 singlemode.
• OM3-300 is the 10G 300 m fiber grade at 850 nm; it does not describe the cable length.

Order Guide

This SKU is built to the ordered polarity and is not polarity-switchable in the field. Select the polarity from the site drawing, then overall length.

Standard lengths: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 m, LSZH black. Custom lengths are quoted on the drawing.
