This 12-fiber OS2 MPO patch cord links cassettes, adapter panels and equipment ports inside high-density racks. Both ends use generic MPO APC female connectors on a yellow 3.0 mm jacket. Polarity is built as Type A, B or C at the factory and is not field-switchable.

Use this 12-fiber OS2 APC assembly for single-mode cassette and panel patching. An MPO-12 ferrule can also carry only 8 active fibers; this page is the full 12-fiber build. Selected PSM4 / DR4 links should use the 8-fiber OS2 page unless the module map is confirmed as 12-fiber.
