Key Features
- Two splices, fully protected — two dedicated splice slots hold fusion-spliced fibers with their protection sleeves.
- 1-in-2-out cable layout — one feeder cable enters, up to two drop cables leave: a simple way to serve two rooms or two units from one point.
- Strength member clamping — the cable’s strength member is mechanically fixed inside the box, so pulls on the cable never reach the splice.
- Ø4 mm cable ports — accept common indoor cables and slim drop cables.
- Specified, not vague — IP30 protection grade and a −25 °C to +55 °C operating range are stated on the datasheet, so planners know exactly where the box fits.
- Installer-friendly packing — 200 pcs per carton for project-scale rollouts.
Where the SJ-OTB-SY-07 Fits
- Indoor FTTH splicing points — join the incoming cable to one or two drop cables inside homes, corridors and weak-current boxes.
- Two-room distribution — one feeder in, two drops out, without a full termination box.
- MDU riser tap points — compact 2-core transitions on each floor.
This is an indoor, IP30 box. For humid indoor points use the sealed SK-2B protection box; for six cores or aerial runs use the SJ-FTTH-SK-6C; for outdoor demarcation see our fiber termination boxes.
Installation Notes
- Fix the box to the wall, bring the feeder cable into the single entry port and clamp its strength member first.
- Splice each fiber and seat the protection sleeve in one of the two splice slots; keep bends above the minimum radius.
- Lead outgoing drop cables out through the two exit ports without side-bends at the entry.
- IP30 means dust-protected only: do not install where the box can get wet.
