The SJ-FTTH-MN-1-SC-APC is a 2-port SC/APC fiber optic wall plate in the standard 86 × 86 mm format. Two angled-polish SC ports make it the natural subscriber outlet for PON-based FTTH: one port for the live service, the second for a spare fiber, a second line, or a monitored test port. The 86-type housing is ABS+PC, 22 mm deep, and mounts on the wall or a standard 86 back box with screws.

Installation Notes

  • Splice or field-terminate to SC/APC pigtails, seat the adapters, and coil surplus fiber without kinks.

PON-based FTTH networks standardize on SC/APC because the 8° angled end-face keeps reflectance low, protecting video and high-speed PON signals. Most operators require it at the wall point.

What is the second port for?

Common uses: a spare fiber for future service, a second line (e.g., separate internet and IPTV feeds), or a test/monitoring port.

Does it fit a standard 86 back box?
