Splicing, splitting, fiber storage, and cable management are combined in one sealed IP65 enclosure — so field crews complete a distribution point in a single visit, with no separate splice closure needed.

The cassette slot accepts standard LGX-profile splitter modules, so the same housing works with 1×4, 1×8, or 1×16 PLC cassettes — specify the ratio when ordering.
Is the BWN-SK18-16A fully outdoor rated?
Yes. The enclosure is IP65 (dust-tight, resistant to water jets) with a UV-stable PC+ABS housing, designed for pole, wall, and façade mounting in outdoor FTTH plant.
Do I need to splice on site?
Splicing is optional. The box supports fusion splicing of feeder to pigtails, but with pre-terminated drop cables and SC adapters the deployment is splice-free — which is the faster Quick ODN workflow.
