Fiber Optic Patch Panel 12 Port 1U 19 Inch Rack-Mount

The BWN-ODF-12B is a 12-port fiber optic patch panel for 1U 19-inch racks: twelve SC/APC or SC/UPC simplex cores on a fixed cold-rolled steel panel with a 12-fiber splice tray behind the adapter row. It is the compact termination point for small racks, FTTH cabinets and enterprise wiring closets — one unit of rack space for a fully spliced, labeled and patchable 12-fiber group.

Installation Notes

  • Mount the panel in any standard 19-inch rack (1U); bring the incoming cable in through the rear entry and clamp it.
  • Splice to pigtails with protection sleeves, lay them in the 12-fiber tray, and seat the adapters.
  • Label each port before patching — a labeled 1U panel saves every later visit.

FAQ

Fiber Optic Patch Panel 12 Port 1U 19 Inch Rack-Mount FAQ

What does a 12 port fiber optic patch panel do?

It terminates twelve fiber cores in one rack unit: the incoming cable is spliced to pigtails on the integrated tray, and each fiber is presented as an adapter port for patching.

Is the BWN-ODF-12B supplied with adapters and pigtails?

Tell us your adapter type (SC/LC, APC/UPC) and pigtail requirements when ordering and we confirm the factory configuration on the datasheet.

Does it fit any 19-inch rack?

Yes. It occupies 1U in any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet, at 200 mm depth.

SC/APC or SC/UPC — which should I order?

Match the polish standard of your network: APC for PON/FTTH links, UPC for enterprise and data cabling. Both are offered on this model.

What is the splice tray capacity?

12 fibers per tray — one tray covers the full panel.

Fixed panel or drawer — which is better?

A fixed panel like the 12B is the solid, cost-efficient choice for installations that are patched but rarely re-spliced; a drawer panel gives sliding access for high-touch environments.

Do you support project pricing and OEM?

Yes — send adapter configuration and quantities to our sales team for a configuration review and quote.
