The BWN-FTTR-4K is a pre-terminated fiber optic wall outlet — the form factor European FTTH specifications call a prise terminale optique (PTO) or DTIO — that terminates the incoming drop cable inside the subscriber’s home or office. The unit ships with 1, 2, or 4 SC/APC pigtails (900 µm, color-coded red, blue, green, yellow) and 30 m of internal cable already installed and factory tested, so the installer mounts the outlet, routes the cable, and connects — no fusion splicer needed at the subscriber end.
Two internal levels separate tubes and fiber-containing tubes, and an automatic shutter flap protects the adapters from dust and accidental contact. The ABS-PC housing (UL94 V-0, IK07, UV resistant) mounts directly on a wall or snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail inside a communication box (DTIO), covering both residential gateway and multi-dwelling riser installations.
